Mrs. Adelia Corson passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. L. Morgan, 305 Bauman Avenue, Austin, Minnesota, at 3:30 Wednesday morning, following a lingering illness.
Adelia A Harrington, daughter of James and Charlotte Harrington, was born in Hebron, Washington County, New York, on April 29, 1848. She came to Columbia County, Wisconsin, with her parents in 1855, where she grew to womanhood.
In 1875 she was married to David Cutshaw in Fenimore, Wisconsin. To this union was born one daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Read of Postville, Iowa. Mr. Cutshaw died in 1877.

On October 3, 1880, she was married to Albert Corson at Patch Grove, Wisconsin. They resided in Iowa until 1902 when they moved to Minnesota and lived on a farm until 1910. They then moved to Austin where they resided until their deaths. Mr. Corson preceded her in death nine years ago last March. To this second union were born five children. Three of these children survive: William and George Corson and Mrs. J. L. Morgan of Austin, Minnesota. Two children, Edna and Etta, twins, died, Etta in infancy and Edna at the age of fifteen years. She also leaves to mourn her loss two brothers, Frank and Willis Harrington, both of Austin, Minnesota, and sixteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

In early life Mrs. Corson was united with the Baptist church. She was devoted to her home and family and always ready to be of assistance to those in need of her services. She was always known to her friends around Austin, as "Grandma" Corson and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services were held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. L. Morgan, 305 Bauman Avenue, Austin, Minnesota, at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, October 19, Rev. Hamilton of the Baptist church officiating. Interment was made in Enterprise cemetery beside her husband.
