Rites Held For Mrs. Clark
Etta Barnes Clark, daughter of John Alexander and Mary (White) Barnes, was born May 18, 1891, near Volney, Iowa. She died at the Waukon Hospital, on Saturday, November 14, 1959.
She was married to Roy Clark on May 19, 1909, at the First Presbyterian Church in Waukon.
Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
She is survived by two sons, Lloyd L. Clark of Phoenix, Arizona and Robert L. Clark of Cleveland, Ohio. She is also survived by two grandchildren and one brother, Edward Barnes of Clermont.
Early in life she united with the United Brethren Church. On January 2, 1952, she joined the Community Presbyterian Church of Postville.
Mrs. Clark spent most of her life in the vicinity of Postville, with the exception of 12 years which were spent in Minnesota and eight years in South Dakota.
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, at 1:30 p.m. at the Schutte Funeral home with the Rev. Walter T. Martin in charge of the rites. Burial will be in Postville cemetery.
