Funeral services were held Friday, December 22, 1989 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church for Veronica C. Schulte who died December 19, 1989 at Mercy Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa. Father Ed Lechtenberg conducted the 10:30 a.m. services. Burial was in the St. Mary's Cemetery in Dorchester, Iowa with Hanson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers were Raymond and Andrew Schwartzhoff, Walter Mahr, Gene Wilder, Michael Cira, and Gary Schwartzhoff.

She was born September 19, 1907 in Dorchester, Iowa to Clem and Margaret (Schwartzhoff) Schulte. She was a graduate of St. Vincent Academy in Dubuque, Iowa. She had been a resident of Stonehill Care Center in Dubuque, Iowa since July.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Clement Schulte.

She is survived by 2 sisters, Helen North and Elizabeth Schulte, both of Waukon, Iowa, 2 nephews and 3 nieces.
