Funeral services were held Friday, March 23 at 2 p.m. at the Schutte Funeral Home for Mrs. Rudolph Heins, 59, who passed away March 20 at the home of her son in Postville, Elmer Heins.

The rites were in charge of the Rev. Charles E. Witt, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Burial was in the Eno cemetery near Luana.

Mrs. Rudolph Heins, daughter of John and Emma Follman, was born on May 6, 1896 at Osterdock, Iowa, and departed this life in Postville on March 20, 1956 at the age of 59.

Goldie May Follman was born at Osterdock and lived there all during the early part of her life. She was united in marriage to Rudolph Heins at Guttenberg on December 8, 1915. They lived there until 1934 when they moved to Luana, and in 1935 they moved to Postville.

To this union were born three children, two of whom survive. Left to mourn her passing are two sons, Elmer of Postville, and Oliver of Oelwein; two sisters, Mrs. Flora Seipple of Lancaster, Wisconsin and Mrs. Ethel Lippstock of Dubuque, and one brother, Henry Follman of Seattle, Washington and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one daughter, Dorothy Mae, who passed away as an infant, and one sister.

Mrs. Heins was confined to her bed since the latter part of December. She lived with her son, Elmer, since last fall, when her health began to decline.

She was a member of the Methodist Church in Guttenberg.
