Ruby (Anderson) Barnett, age 83, of Sarasota, Florida, died Thursday, November 7, 1985 at the Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 12 at Martin Funeral Home in Waukon, Iowa. Rev. Henry Heinbach will officiate. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery in Waukon, Iowa. Pallbearers are Edgar Ericson, Edmund Anderson, Karl Bechtel, Alvin Aldrich, Lester Shogren, and Milton Schneider.

Ruby was born in Allamakee County on July 31, 1902, the daughter of David Richard and Hilda G. Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George Barnett who died in 1954, and a half-brother, Leonard Klingzell.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Amos (Alice) Lemme of Waukon, Iowa and a brother Earl Anderson of Minneapolis, Minnesota in addition to nieces and nephews.
