Word was received of the death of Eilert Ellefson's sister, Celestina "Sally" (Ellefson) Blood who died Monday, November 9, 1987 at the age of 87. Graveside services for the immediate family were held in Santa Rosa, California.

Celestina was the daughter of John O. and Jacobina (Pederson) Ellefson of rural Waterville, Iowa. * The obituary did not give her date of birth and did not list the name of her husband or marriage date*. The Ellefsons were noted for making prize winning sorghum on the family farm north of Waterville from 1920 to 1950.

Celestina is survived by a daughter Jacqueline Lynch of Santa Rosa, California with whom she made her home for the past few years, and a brother, Eilert Ellefson who is the remaining survivor of the 10 Ellefson children.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: Odin A. Ellefson, Ingvold Ellefson, Sigbart Ellefson, Roland Ellefson, Ralph Ellefson, Elmer Ellefson, Johanna Ellefson, and Ellen Kathinka Ellefson.
