Services for Marion E. Ludeman, age 87, were held Wednesday, October 22 at 10 a.m. at Martin Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dean Shelly officiating. Burial was in the Oakland Cemetery in Waukon, Iowa. Casket bearers were Mayhew Eaton, Paul Cote, Eaton Cote, Jim Ludeman, Richard Honig, and Truman Slitor.

Marion died Sunday October 19, 1986 at the Good Samaritan Home in Waukon, Iowa. She was born October 29, 1898 in Waukon, Iowa to M.W. and Ella (Minert) Eaton. She graduated from Waukon High School, Washington State University, Pullman, Washington, and Rockford College in Rockford, Illinois. On October 7, 1926 she married Harm G. Ludeman in Waukon, Iowa. He died in February of 1976. During the 1920's she was a teacher in the local schools and also in Dennison, Iowa. She was also a homemaker. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church and the Methodist church groups. She was a long-time member of the PEO.

Preceding her in death were her husband, 4 sisters, Dora, Nelle, Lucille, and Ruth and two brothers, Art Eaton and Guy Eaton.

Survivors include a son James Ludeman of Omaha, Nebraska, a daughter Mrs. Richard (Ann) Honig of Berne, Indiana; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
