Harley F. Leas, age 92, died Tuesday, September 16, 1986 at Thornton Manor in Lansing, Iowa where he was a resident. Funeral services were held Friday September 19 at 10:30 a.m. at martin Funeral Home in Waukon, Iowa with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery at Rossville, Iowa. The Rev. James Jacobson officiated. Pallbearers were Lloyd Bechtel, William Van Horn, Lester Fish, Jack Beisker, Cecil Stahl, and Dave Snitker.

Harley was born August 8, 1894 to Finley and Emma (Huff) Leas in Allamakee County, Iowa. He attended local schools. On December 29, 1915 he married Fearyl Deal in Waukon, Iowa where they made their home. He was a farmer and a carpenter. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge.

He was preceded in death his wife, Fearyl, in 1972 and four brothers, Floyd Leas, Everett Leas, Fred Leas, and Vinton Leas. He is survived by one half-sister, Florence Hancock of Waukon, Iowa.
