Charlotte M. Stone, age 95, died Tuesday, November 4, 1986 at the Good Samaritan Center in Waukon, Iowa. Funeral services were held Friday, November 7 at 1:30 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home with the Rev. James Elvig officiating. Casket bearers were M.F. Palmer, Boyd Groezinger, Jack Halverson, Bob Fritz, Walter Winke, and William Walsh. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery in Waukon, Iowa with Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Charlotte was born October 8, 1891 in Waukon, Iowa to Luther and Mary (Barrett) Stone. After graduation from Waukon High School in 1908, she graduated from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa in 1918. She taught school until retiring in 1962. She moved back to Waukon, Iowa in 1974. She was a member of the first Presbyterian Church and a 50 year member of Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Walter Stone, Stephen Stone, and Leo Stone.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Ruth Linden of Rock Island, Illinois and nieces and nephews.
