Dora I. Pullen, age 92, of Waukon, Iowa died Tuesday, February 24, 1987 at the Good Samaritan Center in Waukon, Iowa. Funeral services were held Friday, February 27 at 1:30 pm at Martin Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Michael Bremer officiating. Burial was in the Cleveland Cemetery in the Forest Mills area with Martin Funeral Home in Postville was in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers were Dale and Chad Sweet, Darwin Goeschel, Wayne Johnson, Charles Cook, and Larry Homewood.

Dora was born November 3, 1894 in Waukon, Iowa to John and Mina (Sheperd) Sweatt. She attended local schools. She married Clarence Pullen in Nevada *not certain if that is suppose to be the state or the town of Nevada in Iowa* She had lived in Waterloo, Iowa and Nevada before moving back to Waukon, Iowa. She was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She was a practical nurse.

She was preceded in death by her husband and six brothers and sisters, Mina, Elmer, Merrill, Ethel, Inez, and Desper.

Survivors include nephews Dale Sweet of McGregor, Iowa, Levi Sweat of Lansing, Iowa and Buster Sweat of Churchtown, and a niece, Lorraine Hirth of Churchtown.
