Gretta W. Burke, age 83, of New Albin, Iowa died Sunday, November 23, 1986 in Thornton Manor Nursing Home in Lansing, Iowa. Services were held Wednesday, November 26 at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in New Albin. The Rev. Robert P. Rahe officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home, Lansing, Iowa was in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers were Merlin Freilinger, James Burke, Ray Burke, Joe Cronin, Ronald Burke, and Bernard Burke.

Survivors are a sister, Loretta Donovan of Lansing, Iowa and two brothers, Jack and William Burke, both of Chicago, Illinois. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 1 sister.
