Dorothy Hoffman

Dorothy A. Hoffmann, 61, of Waukon, died June 3, at Veteran's Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services were Friday at Martin Funeral Chapel, Waukon, with Fr. Ed Lechtenberg officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery.

Hoffmann was born Nov. 21, 1925, in Postville to Arnold F. and Tillie (Knudtson) Mueller.

Survivors include her mother, Tillie Mueller, Lansing; her husband, Clarence Hoffmann, Waukon; one daughter, Mrs. Gary (Diana) Gunderson, Postville; one son, Phillip Hoffmann, Waukon; 2 sisters, Mrs. Keith (Arlene) Jones, Manchester; Mrs. Ronald (Donna) Dutter, Manasha, Wis.; 3 brothers, Fred Mueller, Riddot, Ill.; Marlin K. Mueller, New Diggings, Wis.; Eugene Mueller, West Point, Nebraska; and one granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by 2 sisters and one brother.

Additional information: Dorothy attended Pixler rural school near Gunder, Iowa. She married Clarence Hoffman on October 6, 1951 in Augusta, Georgia. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by a brother William Mueller, and two sisters, Lillian and Betty. Casket bearers were Nick Hoffman, Steve Jones, Randy Dutter, Roger Small, Chuck Klein, Kevin Miller, Gary Small, and Mark Lampe.
