Funeral services for Elmer G. Buege, age 75, of Waukon, Iowa are set for Wednesday August 28 at 1:30 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home. The Rev. Dean Shelly of St. Paul Methodist Church will officiate at the funeral services. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery.

Elmer Buege died Sunday, August 25, 1985 at his home. He was born November 14, 1909 in Allamakee County, Iowa, the son of Herman and Margaret (Fink) Buege. He attended local schools and lived in the Allamakee County area all his life. He was a farmer, a railroad worker, and a tavern operator. He and Pearl Neva Darling were married October 10, 1932 in New Albin, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by a great-grandson Mitchell.

His wife survives him as do 3 sons, Ralph Buege of Waterloo,Iowa, Alvin Buege of Waukon, Iowa, and Raymond Buege of Parkersburg, Iowa; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Stanley Buege of New Albin, Iowa, Albert Buege of Florida, and Harold Buege of Ossian, Iowa.
