The Reuben Hager family received word of the death of Althea Jansky, age 74, who died in St.Joseph Care Center in LaCrosse, Wisconsin on January 4, 1988. Funeral services were held in St.Joseph the Workman Cathedral in LaCrosse, Wisconsin Friday, January 6. Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery in LaCrosse.

Althea was born May 4, 1914 in Jamestown, North Dakota to William and Martha (Helming) Deal. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post #52 and St.Joseph the Workman parish. She was a bookkeeper for many years for Jansky Printing which she owned and operated with her husband Adolph.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1961, a daughter Theresa and a brother Howard Deal.

Surviving are two sons, James Jansky of San Antonio, Texas, and Robert Jansky of LaCrosse, Wisconsin; two grandsons and a sister Dorothy Larsen of Onalaska, Wisconsin.
