Mrs. Kathryn Abernethy received word Monday of the death in Mason City of her granddaughter, Mrs. Nina Davis, 31, who died in a fire at her home in Mason City after she had saved her five children, age 3 to 11 years. Mrs. Davis was a daughter of the late Charles Rush, son of Mrs. Abernethy, and brother of Mrs. Cy Harrington of this city. The funeral was held for Mrs. Davis in Mason City Tuesday afternoon.
