Paul Weipert

Just one short week ago Paul Weipert was a strong and vigorous young man, energetic and apparently enjoying the best of health. We believe it was his intention to go to the west with Albert Meyer. Both were taken suddenly sick and were taken care of at the Germania House. Today Paul lies a corpse at the home of his father, John Weipert, in this township. Albert Meyer is dead at Bellevue, and a brother in law who came there from the west to meet him, was killed in an auto smash up. Mr. Meyer was on his way to Wyoming, having recovered it was thought, sufficiently to undertake the journey. We believe he died on the train.
Agent Otto Intekofer insured Paul in the N.Y. Life on July 8 in favor of his parents. He was aged 16 years, and was born in this township in March 22, 1902.
