HENDERSON--In Paint Creek twp., April 24, 1893, Effie Alice, daughter of James A. and Ella Henderson, aged 3 years, 4 months, and 22 days.
She was born December 2, 1889, and was a lovely child. Like a ray of sunlight from heaven she had come into this home bringing joy and gladness and then vanished away but she left behind a blessing by innocent sweetness and loveliness. Dedicated to God in baptism the fond parents had hoped that she might be spared to give heart and life to His service. But the death angel touched the little brain with fever and she is not, for God took her.
Our hearts weep with the sad parents, but in the bright mansions of heaven they have a dear little one awaiting their coming.

O how sweet it will be in that beautiful land,
So free from all sorrow and pain.
With songs on our lips and with harps in our hands
To meet one another again.
