Jack Edward Orr, 31, of Waukon, died Saturday, March 27, 1999, at the Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon following a lengthy illness.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 31, at 1 p.m., at the Martin Funeral Home in Waukon, with the Rev. Larry Olson officiating.

Casket bearers will be Chuck and Rick Orr, Ken Mclntyre, Jeff and Lane Leiran, Ray Wacker, Kevin Kulish and Dan Piedat. Honorary bearers are Chelsea Francisco, Logan, Skyler, Ashley and Melany Orr.

Burial will be at the Oakland Cemetery, Waukon. The Martin Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Jack was born Jan. 3, 1968, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Ellen (Pierce) Ronnfeldt. He attended school in Cedar Rapids, where he lived until moving to Northeast Iowa several years ago.

On Sept. 7, 1996, he married Catherine Stee in a ceremony held at the Waukon City Park.

Jack worked as an auto body repairman, auto mechanic, construction worker and carpenter at various locations throughout the area. He enjoyed fishing, camping and hunting, as well as doing odd jobs around the house.

Survivors include his wife, Catherine of Waukon; three children, Chelsea Francisco, Logan and Ashley Orr, all at home; his mother, Ellen Ronnfeldt of Waterville; and two brothers, Richard of Waukon, and Chuck and wife Janet of Cedar Rapids.
