Funeral services were held Monday, June 12 for Marie Zadrazil, 90, of Waukon who died Friday, June 9, 1995. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Ed Lechtenberg conducted the 2;30 p.m. services at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, with Hanson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Born April 9, 1905 in Waukon, Marie was the daughter of Joseph and Ellen (Ryan) McAneny. She married Jake Zadrazil Aug. 5, 1935 in Waukon and was a member of St. Pat's.
Surviving are a brother, Ed McAneny of Waukon; four sisters, Katherine Herberger, Eileen McAneny, Ann Goepel, all of Waukon, and Alice Armstrong of Mobile, AL; two nieces; three grandnieces and a grandnephew.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a brother, Willian McAneny and a sister, Virginia LeMere.
