Delores May Krumwiede 1937-2010

Delores May Krumwiede, age 72, of Waukon died Tuesday evening, June 22 at home surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 26 at the United Methodist Church in Lansing with the Rev. Richard Iles officiating. Interment was at Oakhill Cemetery in Lansing.
Delores May Wales was born October 27, 1937 at Rhinelander, WI. She was the daughter of Alfred and Alice Pearl Tiffany Wales. She attended school in the Rhinelander area. December 7, 1966 she was united in marriage to Jack Krumwiede at Crystal Falls, MI. Her children and grandchildren were her life. Following a short stay at Northgate Care Center, her illness with diabetes brought her home.
She is survived by her husband, Jack, of Waukon; eight children, Roxanne Apfel of Rhinelander, WI, Cindy (Wayne) Parker of Rhinelander, WI, Dawn (Kevin) Apfel of Waupaca, WI, Jim (Karla) Apfel of Waterloo, Bob Apfel of Decorah, Rogette Apfel of Lansing, Jackie (Mike) Moody of Harpers Ferry, and Don (Molly) Krumwiede of Waukon; two brothers, Ron and Jackie Wales, both of Rhinelander, WI; 26 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Willie Apfel and Mike Apfel; two daughters, Shirley Radtke and Jeannette Krumwiede; and a granddaughter, Jessica Krumwiede.
