HAMLIN WEBER KILLED IN AUTO CRASH
Hamlin O. Weber, 60, of Eitzen, Minnesota was dead on arrival at the Waukon hospital last Thursday afternoon.
He was killed in a one car accident about 2:25 p.m. that day when his Ford van left the highway about 3 miles south of New Albin.
Allamakee Co. Sheriff's Department investigated the accident and determined that Weber was northbound on No. 76* when he lost control of the vehicle.
Funeral services were held Monday, August 12, at 2:00 p.m. from St. Luke's United Church of Christ in Eitzen, Minnesota. The Rev. Lloyd Fried officiated and burial was in the church cemetery.
He was born in Union City township of Allamakee county, a son of Louis and Ida Schuttemeier Weber. He attended Harmony, Minn. high school and was a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by a brother, Clarence Weber of Dorchester.
Pallbearers were Glen Rice, Garnet Wiebke, Robert Burns, Leonard Opfer, Clarence Bulman and Lloyd Dehning.
