Funeral services for Robert Kugel, 64, retired farmer, Waukon, were held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. from Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Keith Kensinger officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. He died on Tuesday, August 6, at Waukon Veteran's Memorial Hospital.
He was born July 27,1910, in Allamakee county to Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kugel. He was married March 11, 1936 to Arlene Duval (sic), now deceased. He is survived by two sons, Edward, Mt. Vernon, Ia. and Virgil, Waukon; one daughter, Mrs. Roger (Dianne) Dickson, Freeport, Ill; four grandchildren; two brothers, Fred and Carl Kugel, Waukon; and two sisters, Mes. Martha Hanke, Waukon, and Mrs. Mary Kruger, Cedar Rapids.
Martin Bros. Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
