DEATH OF A LITTLE BOY
Master Dennis Rossi, 9, died at the Milwaukee, Wis. Children's Hospital about five o'clock Friday afternoon following an illness of more than three months. Death resulted from a brain tumor indirectly caused by a fall from his bicycle. He attended Keefe Avenue School in the Wisconsin metropolis.
He was born January 9th, 1954 at Rockford, Ill. to Mr. and Mrs. James Rossi and besides his parents he is survived by a twin sister Denice, a brother Tony and another sister Deanna. Also surviving are his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Lind, Rockford, Ill; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Sheriff, Lansing and his great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Cole of this city.
The funeral services were held from the Burke Chapel to Immaculate Conception Church at ten o'clock yesterday morning with Father Gerald Condon offering the Mass of Requiem and saying the final prayers at the graveside in Gethsemane Cemetery where interment was made. Casket bearers were the following Boy Scouts: Robert Hoksch, Ronnie Garrett, Vince Peters, Donnie Manning, Tim O'Malley and Jimmy Spinner.
