DEATH OF DEWITT BERRIER
Funeral services were held at the Bakke & Hanson Funeral Parlors Saturday afternoon for DeWitt Berrier, a lifelong resident of the Waukon vicinity. The last rites were conducted by the Rev. August Grossheim, pastor of the Presbyterian church. Burial was made in the Oakland Cemetery.
Mr. Berrier died Thursday at the county home where he had been cared for the past ten days. Previous to that he had made his home for several years with Arthur Amundson of Waukon. He was born in Union Prairie township on Dec. 21, 1859, and was employed as a farm laborer all his life. He has no relatives.
