Wayne R. Goodell, 60, of Lansing died Saturday afternoon, May 8, 2010 at Thornton Manor in Lansing. Private services were held Monday, May 10 at the Thornburg-DeVries Funeral Home in Lansing with Fr. Daniel Knipper officiating at the service. Interment was at Gethsemane Cemetery, Lansing.

Wayne R. Goodell was born October 1, 1949 at La Crosse, WI. He was the son of Robert and Imelda Verdon Goodell. Wayne was a graduate of Kee High school. He worked at Charlie’s Bait Shop in Lansing. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lansing and was past Treasurer for the Lansing Lions Club.

Wayne is survived by his cousins, Rose (Bill) Trussoni, Bruce (Frieda) Strub, and Renee (Kenny) Johanningmeier; his aunt, Mary; his aunt and uncle, Walt and Fran Verdon; Bill and Sue Bartels and family; and many friends and cousins.
