Henry Harris Passes on At Covina, Calif.
Word was received in Postville on Tuesday that Henry Harris, a former resident, had passed away on sunday at Covina, Calif., where he made his home with his only daughter, Mrs. Clarence Banks. Mr. Harris, who was 81 years old, passed away suddenly as he was teaching his Sunday School class.

Henry Harris was born June 9, 1859, the son of Elisha and Margaret (Patterson) Harris. He spent his youth on the Harris farm near Lybrand and after his marriage to Miss Amanda Eaton, continued to live in this vicinity for a number of years. Mr. and Mrs. Harris moved to Kansas, where they were located for a time, then went to California.

Mr. Harris has a wide number of distant relations, who are located in Postville and vicinity. He was preceded in death by his wife about a year ago, and 13 brothers.
