Funeral services were held August 11 at the Community Presbyterian Church in Postville for Mrs. Eva Gould, 90, who passed away August 8 at a rest home in Waukon.

Eva Mae Gould, daughter of John and Eliza Petitt, was born July 5, 1864 in Hardin, Iowa. She was baptized in Hardin.

She was married to James Jones on July 27, 1883. To this union were born two boys and two girls.

She was married to Douglas Gould on February 16, 1921. They lived for 33 years in West Postville. Mr. Gould passed away July 3, 1951.

Mrs. Gould was preceded in death by her husband, her father and mother, three brothers and two children. Left to mourn her loss are her two children, Ed Jones of Postville and Mrs. Charles Brouillet of Castalia, and two nieces, four nephews, 114 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
