Gilbert Leppert Funeral in N.D.

Funeral services were held for Gilbert Taft Leppert, 60, of Edgeley, N. D., Saturday afternoon, Aug. 7, at 2 o'clock at Our Redeemer Lutheran church in Edgeley with Rev. Thomas Faaland of Kulm, N. D., officiating. Burial was in a cemetery at Berlin, N. D.

Mr. Leppert died Wednesday, Aug, 4, at an Ellendale, N. D. hospital. Mr. Leppert was born Oct. 13, 1910, in Lansing, Iowa, a son of Andrew and Sarah Bulman. He graduated from Waukon, Iowa high school in 1930. He was married to Hazel Anderson July 10, 1941. He was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran church at Edgeley.

Preceding him in death were his parents, two sisters, Mrs. A. J. (Emma) Oelberg and Lydia and two brothers, James and Jess.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Judy (Gary) Heidinger; two sons, Dennis of Merricourt, N. D., and Burton of Chicago, Ill.; a sister, Cora (Lloyd) Swenson of Waukon, Iowa; four brothers, Ralph of Monona, Iowa, Willard of Seattle, Wash., Oscar of Edgeley, N. D., and Dewey of Lansing, Iowa; and four grandchildren.

Dewey Leppert of Lansing, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Swenson of Waukon, Ralph Leppert of Monona, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Enyart of Postville, and Harva Oelberg of Luana attended the funeral services.
