Mary Zieman Rites Pending

Mary K. Zieman, 75, 814 N. Federal, widow of Lewis Zieman and resident of Mason City the last 50 years, died Thursday evening at her home.

She was born in Waukon, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Haas. She married Lewis Zieman in 1918 in Waukon.

She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the Foresters.

Survivors include two sons, Benedict and Ted, both of Mason City; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Bennie (Gertrude) Troendle and Mrs. Leo (Florence) Ferring; and a brother, Joseph, all of Waukon.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1950; two sons, a daughter, and a sister.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Patterson-James Funeral Chapel.

Mrs. Zieman Service Set for Monday

Requiem High Mass for Mrs. Lewis (Mary) Zieman, 75, 814 Federal, will be at 9 a.m. Monday at the Holy Family Catholic Church. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. A.J. Breen will be the celebrant. Burial will be in the St. Joseph section of Elmwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers selected are Donald Dearduff, Donald Caldwell, Eugene Wilkinson, Richard Luse, Paul Baack, and Arnold Griffith, Jr.

A combined parish and Forester's Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday at the Patterson-James Chapel. Visitation is scheduled at the chapel until 8:30 a..m. Monday.

She died Thursday at her home.
