Services were held Friday, March 28, at Asheville, North Carolina, for Earl S. Gray, 50. Mr. Gray passed away Wednesday, March 26, following a long illness. Burial was at Decatur, Georgia on Saturday.

Born in Postville, Earl attended schools here, graduating with the class of 1936. He received his B. S. degree from the University of Georgia. He was a veteran of World War II having served with the paratroopers. He had lived in Asheville the past five years. He was a meteorological technician with the Environmental Science Service Association for the past 26 years and a member of Grace Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Gray is survived by his widow, Carmen, a son Keith at home, two daughters, Mrs. W. T. Davis,Jr. of Asheville and Nancy Gray at home, his mother, Mrs. Louise Gray and a brother Roland of Postville and two grandchildren.
