Dr. DAVID M. KIESAU

Memorial services will be held Friday, November 16, 1979 at the Community Presbyterian Church, Postville, for Dr. David M. Kiesau, 37, who lost his life during the weekend in an airplane accident near Novas, Mexico. The Rev. Dennis E. Morey will officiate.

Dr. Kiesau, a dentist in San Bruno, California, was on a mercy mission in Mexico as a member of a volunteer group known as the Flying Doctors. Seven planes were on the mission. Four others were killed with Kiesau.

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, April 24, 1942, David was the oldest son of Dr. and Mrs. M. F. Kiesau, Postville. He was a baptized member of the Community Presbyterian Church, Postville and a graduate of Postville high school, Coe College and the University of Iowa School of Dentistry.

August 24, 1968 he was united in marriage to Donna Winterbottom at Reading, Pennsylvania. In addition to wife Donna, survivors include a daughter Marin, 10; son Carter David, 4; a brother Douglas of Denver, Colorado; sisters Mary and Mrs. Frank (Georgia) Leonard, both of Clark, Colorado, maternal grandmother Mrs. E. ?. Smith of Wapello.

Memorial services were conducted Tuesday, November 13 at St. Robert's Cathedral, San Bruno, California. The body will be cremated.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Flying Doctors organization.
