Last Rites of Ernest F. Dee Saturday

Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 11 at Zion Reformed United Church of Christ for Ernest Frederick Dee, 86, who died May 8 at Veterans Memorial Hospital, Waukon.

Rev. W.E. Oldenbach officiated. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery.

A son of August and Ernestina Born Dee he was born in Germany and came to this country when he was six years old. He lived most of his life in Union Prairie Township, Allamakee County and was educated in local schools.

He married Emma Schreiber, April 18, 1917 in Waukon. They had no children. His wife survives as do a sister, Mrs. Herman (Ada) Nagel, Waukon and a brother, Gus, Waukon. He was a member of the Zion Reformed United Church of Christ in Waukon.

Pallbearers were Leonard Clinton, Clarence Dee, Clarence Haas, Leonard Amundson, and Joseph Haas.
