HOLIDAY GLOOM
Death of Mr John Farrell...
Another of Lansings oldest settlers has gone to his final rest. John Farrell, well known to every one in this portion of Iowa, died at his home in this city, Thursday night Dec.27, at 9 o'clock. Mr Farrell was a native of Ireland. He was born in 1818, and came to America in 1844. He came to Lansing in 1855 and resided here continously until the time of his death.
