WARREN C. HARRINGTON

W. C. Harrington Interred Saturday

The funeral service for Warren C. Harrington was held Saturday, October 30 at 10:30 a.m. at the Muehlethaler Funeral Home, Elgin. The Rev. Delbert Dawes officiated. Mr. Harrington died Thursday, October 28 at the Postville Hospital.

Warren C. Harrington, son of Carlos and Emma Harrington, was born December 21, 1889 at Elgin, attended rural school in Fayette county and also a business college in Oelwein.

His early years were spent assisting his father on the farm and implement business.

October 15, 1915 he was united in marriage to Sylvia Stanton of Elgin.

He worked in implement sales and service in Elgin, Decorah and Postville, also as a repair man for Redman Furniture Co., in Waterloo. Due to his wife's health, they moved to Clermont in 1954 where he continued to reside.

He was preceded in death by his wife, mother, father and sister. He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Kohler of Wilton Junction; Elva (Mrs. Roy Scoles) of Mason City; Mildred (Mrs. Louis Koevening) of Postville and several nieces and nephews.

Interment was in the Elgin cemetery.

Relatives and friends from Colesburg, Wilton Junction, Cedar Rapids, West Union, Clermont, Postville and Wadena attended the services.
