Kaeser Funeral Held Monday

The death of Anna Kaeser, 87, occurred Friday at the home of her nephew, Dan Kaeser, north of Waukon, where she received care for the past two months. Her last illness was of only a few hours in duration.

On April 13, 1858, she was born to Mr. and Mrs. John Kaeser, early residents of Allamakee County, and this vicinity had since been her home. She never married. She was aunt to Dan and Sam Kaeser of Waukon.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from Martin's Funeral Home to Zion Reformed Church, conducted by Rev. E.H.DeBuhr. Burial took place in Oakland Cemetery. Following were the pallbearers: Lewis Jones, Lee Echard, George Leet, Wm. Dee, Elmer Fogt, and Louis Willims.
