PHELAN - Mrs. Lophelia Phelan, 96, of 641 W. First St., died Nov. 26, at her home. She was born in Allamakee County, Iowa, and came to Long Beach 19 years ago from Cherokee, Iowa. She belonged to First Congregational Church. Surviving are three daughters, Dr. Jennie E. and Ethel M., both of Long Beach, and Mrs. J.S. Welch of Winchendon, Mass.; a son Harry T. of Cherokee; a brother, L.H. Goodrich of Winfield, Kan.; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Rev. Stuart leRoy Anderson and Rev. Isaac McRae will officiate at the service in Mottell's Chapel Friday at 1 p.m.
