James A. Barthell

WAUKON, Iowa – James A. Barthell, 61, of Bellingham, Wash., formerly of Waukon, died Sunday, Dec 20, 1987, at St. Luke’s General Hospital, Bellingham, after a short illness.

The body was cremated. Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Martin Funeral Home, Waukon, where there will be no visitation. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Waukon.

Mr. Barthell was born April 9, 1926 at Waukon. He was a custodian for Western Washington State College, Bellingham.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. George (Winifred) Ferring of Lansing and Mrs. Irvin (Luella) Hart of Cedar Rapids.
