Louis Stock Rites Were on Monday

Louis Stock, who was born in Jefferson township October 18, 1873, died at his home June 15. His funeral was held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Zion Evangelical and Reformed church, with the Rev. Mr. W. E. Odenbach officiating. Burial was at Oakland cemetery. Pallbearers were Theo. Krugner, Theo. Hansmeier, Ben Hansmeier, Leo Promnitz, Frank Murphy and Gordon Hansmeier. Martin's funeral home was in charge.

Mr. Stock's parents were William and Frederica Dravis Stock, Jefferson township. He spent his entire life in Allamakee county.

He was married at Waukon Nov. 28, 1900 to Edith Adell Beebe, the Rev. Mr. Elliker performing the ceremony. Mrs. Stock remains, as to their children, Earl Stock of Waukon, Mrs. Earl Miller of Luana and Mrs. Thomas Warren of Waukegan, Ill. There are 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Educated in the local schools, Mr. Stock had been a farmer. He was a member of Zion Evangelical and Reformed church here.
