OSCAR JOHNSON

WAUKON, Ia. -- Services for Oscar Johnson, 63, a retired farmer, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Martin Brothers Funeral Home here and at 2 p.m. in Saint John's Lutheran Church here. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Selma; seven sons, Dwayne at home, Roger of Postville, Marland of Luana, Dale of Postville, Dean of Luana, LaVern of Postville, and Keith of Elgin; four daughters, Mrs. James Bloxham, Mrs. Robert Topel and Marnetta, all of Waukon, and Mrs. Stanley Berg, of Postville; two brothers, John R. Johnson of Waukon and Robert Johnson of rural Waukon; and five sisters, Mrs. Adolph Larson of rural Waukon, Mrs. Gilmore Statsvold of rural Waukon, Mrs. Gunda Martindale of Postville, Mrs. Fred Mickey of Mason City and Mrs. Silas Campbell of Easton, Wash.

Johnson died here Sunday.

A Waukon, Postville or Decorah newspaper clipping from the scrapbook of Minnie (Guese) Goeke. Minnie doesn't have this obituary dated but all the other clippings on this page are dated May 1958.
