POSTVILLE—Funeral services were held here at the Schutte funeral home Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. George Thies, 63, for many years a Postville resident, who died at her home in Auburn, Saturday,
The Rev. Frederick R. Ludwig, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran church, officiated and burial was in the Postville cemetery.
Besides her husband she is survived by three sons; George, Jr., of Waterloo, Clarence of West Union and Leslie of Waverly. Two daughters; Mrs. Robert Perry of Waterloo and Mrs. Selmer Nordhus of West Union and a Sister, Mrs. Charles Meyer of Cedar Falls.
