Mrs. Anna Timmerman,
Postville, Succumbed
Following an Illness

POSTVILLE—Funeral services were held here at the home Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Anna Timmerman, 80, one of the oldest residents in the Postville vicinity. She died Sunday afternoon following an illness of several months

The Rev. Frederick R. Ludwig, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran church, officiated and burial was in the Postville cemetery, Pallbearers were Edward and Walter Lammert, Eldo Schultz, Charles Warnholz, Wilmer Nordin, and Harold Eberling.
She was born in Germany July 9, 1860, and came to this vicinity in May 1883. She was married April 4, 1884 to John Timmerman and they lived in Farmersburg until 1896 when they took up residence on their farm west of Postville. They retired from the farm in 1926 and moved to Postville. Mr. Timmerman died in May 1933.
She is survived by two daughters; Mrs. Clara Sphar of Castalia, Elma of Postville and two sons, Will and Arno of Castalia.
