SPRING GROVE, Minn. (Special) - Mrs. Carl (Clara) Tyribakken, 89, of Spring Grove, died this morning at Wheaton Memorial Hospital here following an illness of five weeks,
The former Clara Alvina Clauson was born Oct. 30, 1884 in Allamakee County, Iowa, the daughter of Peter and Minnie Clauson. A lifelong area resident, she married Carl Tyribakken. He died in 1959.
She was a member of the Waterloo Ridge Lutheran Church in rural Spring Grove and the ALCW.
Surviving are two sons, Roy and Harold both of Spring Grove; one grandchild; and one sister, Mrs. Josie Danielson, Caledonia, Minn. One brother and three sisters have died.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Waterloo Ridge Lutheran Church, the Rev. E. J. Nesset officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Roble Funeral Home here Tuesday afternoon through noon Wednesday and at the church the hour before services.
