Miss Ella Bryant

MABEL, Minn. (Special) - Miss Ella Bryant, 82, died Monday evening at the Decorah. Iowa, Retirement Center after an extended period of failing health.
She was born July 24, 1872, in Allamakee County, Iowa, to Archibald and Anne Bryant. She attended the rural school of her home community near Quandahl, Iowa. She moved with her parents to the Hesper community when a young woman,
A graduate of the Chicago School of Nursing, she practiced her profession many years, After retiring she returned to Hesper.
Survivors are nieces and nephews. She was the last of a family of 12.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Hesper Friends Church, the Rev. Andrew Stuart officiating. Burial will he in Hesper public cemetery. Steine Funeral Home, Decorah, is in charge of arrangements.
