Mrs. WILLIAM F. (Louise Krueger) MILLER

Funeral services for Mrs. William F. Miller, rural Postville, were held Tuesday, June 19, 1990 at 11 a. m. in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville, with Rev. Julius Peterson officiating. Schutte Funeral Service, Postville, was in charge of arrangements, and burial was in the Postville Cemetery.
Casket bearers were Gary and Stan Bahr, Kevin McKee, David Miller, Ronald Moose, Wayne Howe, Ross Feuerhelm and David Hartley.

Louise "Lizzie" Albertine Wilhelmina Miller, daughter of Henry and Maria Heller Krueger, was born April 15, 1893, in Chicago, Ill. Her death occurred Saturday, June 16, 1990 in the Good Samaritan Center, Waukon.

She was baptized May 1, 1893, by Rev. W. Uffenbeck and confirmed March 24, 1905, by Rev. G. Landgerebe. She attended the rural schools near her home.

On Jan. 14, 1914, she was married to William Frederick Carl Miller in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Monona. To this union six children were born. They had farmed in the Postville and Waukon areas.

Mrs. Miller was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville, and the WELCA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William, who died in 1967; son, Roland; two grandchildren, Elaine Miller and Kenneth McKee; two brothers, William and Otto Krueger; three sisters, Anna McDonald, Ida Vandekerkhove and Helen Timmerman.

Surviving are a son, Vernon Miller, Postville; four daughters, Evelyn Walsh, Waukon; Helen (Mrs. Charles Bahr) and Arlene (Mrs. John Beisker), both of Waukon, and Leone, Mrs. Edwin McKee, Luana; 17 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; brother, Lawrence Krueger, Monona; four sisters, Irene Wall, Monona; Marie Kramer, West Union; Ella Brainard, Roseville, Calif., and Margaret Bergman, Royal Oak, Mich.; many nephews and nieces.
