Waukon Resident Succumbs Sunday

T, T. ERICSON WAS FOR MANY YEARS JUSTICE OF PEACE IN CITY OF WAUKON
T, T, Ericson, well known resident of Waukon, passed away Sunday morning at his home. He had been in ill health for several years from pernicious anemia.
Mr. Ericson was born April 2 1862, in Sweden. When he was five years old he came to this country with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Ericson, and they settled on a farm in Center township, where he received his early education. On March 16 1892, he was united in marriage to Hannah Swenson, and had he lived until March 16, 1942, they would have had the privilege of celebrating their golden wedding anniversary. For many years Mr. Ericson served as Justice of the Peace in Waukon.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one sister, Mrs. Constance Aldrich of Washington D. C., and one brother, Fred Ericson of Waukon. His parents, and seven brothers and sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at the Waukon Baptist church Thursday afternoon. The Reverend L. D. Eaton, assisted by the Reverend J. R. Lindblom will conduct the services, and interment will be in the Swedish Baptist cemetery in Center township.
The casket bearers will be Clarence and Edwin Shogren, Delbert and Alvin Aldrich, and Ed and Reuben Ericson.
