Warren Ralston's Rites Were Friday

Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 7 at 11 a.m. from Martin Brothers funeral home for Warren Lloyd Ralston, 77, of Evanston, Ill. The Rev. William Tjaden officiated and interment was in Oakland cemetery.

Allen Buntrock, Harvey Stock, Delbert Fiet, Nelson Sherman, Mayhew Eaton and Robert Ralston were pallbearers.

Mr. Ralston was born July 8, 1893 in Evanston and was a son of Willard and Henrietta O'Brien Ralston. He married Ruth Nagel, a former Waukon resident. She survives as do two sons, Richard of Evanston and Raymond of Summit, N.J., five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

He was a World War I veteran and was employed as a bond salesman.
