LANSING, Iowa -- Services for Hulda B. Olson, 78, rural Lansing will be Friday at 1 p.m. in United Methodist Church, Lansing. The Rev. Tom Mattson will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.Friends may call today from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home, Lansing, and at the church Friday from noon to 1 p.m.
She was born April 27, 1908, in Lansing to Charles and Mary (Haselow) Kerstein. She married Evelyn B. Olson April 15, 1925, in Waukon, Iowa. He died Nov. 28, 1980.
She died Tuesday, May 13, 1986 in Veterans Memorial Hospital, Waukon.
Survivors are three sons, Curtis of Manchester, Iowa, and James and Rodney, both of Lansing; three daughters, Joyce Olson of Lansing and Anita Sorum and Judy Iseli, both of Waukon; 20 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mata Giesaman of Dubuque and Linda Beardmore of Lansing.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a son.

Hulda died Tuesday, May 13, 1986 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon,Iowa. She was preceded in death by her son George Olson. Casket bearers were Ralph Olson, Ronald Olson, George Huffey, Eric Sorum, Gary Iseli, and Leon Goedken.
