Anna Hanson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hanson of Round Prairie, died at 1 o’clock Saturday morning. She was 7 years old last August and death was caused by cancer, a disease very unusual in one so young. Funeral services were held at 1 o’clock at St. John’s Lutheran church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Kjourlaug, with burial in Oakland cemetery.

Waukon, Ia., Nov. 6 - Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at St. John's Lutheran church in this city for Anna Hanson, little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hanson of Makee township, who died at the family home Saturday morning after several months' illness.

Services were conducted by Rev. P.F. Kjorlaug and burial was made in Oakland cemetery. The casket was supported by four little girls, Esther Johnson, Margaret Loren, Marlys Steffenson and Palma Kolseth.

Anna was born August 2, 1923, and is survived by her parents and one sister, Carol, and her aged grandmother, Mrs. Charles Hanson of this city.
