GUSTAVE MEYERS TAKEN BY DEATH

This community was shocked last Sunday morning when it was learned that Gust Meyers had passed away that morning, a victim of influenza. He was a strong, robust young man who had never known before what it is to be sick. The deceased was born at New Albin, in the year 1881 and died Dec. 15, 1918. He came to North Dakota in 1889 and was married to Miss Anna Spiegler in 1905. He was an industrrious, hard working young man and a good farmer. His untimely death is mourned by a large circle of friends. He leaves a sorrowing wife and four small children. The body was taken to New Albin, Iowa for burial, and was accompanied by a brother, Henry, and Henry Barnscher.
