Dawn Louise (Shelton) Troendle

Dawn Troendle, 44, of Waukon died December 31, 2007 in her home. Funeral services were held at Hanson Funeral Home in Waukon January 3 with Pastor Snyder officiating. Burial services were scheduled for a later date.

Dawn Louise Troendle was born May 7, 1963 to Ray and Mona (Steiber) Shelton in Cedar Rapids. She enjoyed ceramics, bowling, outdoor ornaments and collecting angels. She was a member of United Methodist Church in Lansing.

She was preceded in death by her aunt and uncle, Dan and Bev Grady; her aunt and uncle, Delbert and Ruth Russell; her aunt, Rosie Moore; and her grandparents, Ray and Velma Shelton and Donald Steiber.

She is survived by her parents, Ray and Mona Shelton of Waukon; her children, Joshua (Laura) Troendle of Waukon, Melissa (Cliff) Troendle and Justin Troendle of Lansing; siblings Ginny (Bob) Schlitter, Rick Shelton and Ron (Kim) Shelton; her grandmother, Irene Steiber of Lansing; and two grandchildren.
